2025 Plum Boro Military Banner Program

Plum Borough has always taken great pride in the men and women who have served our country in its time of need. Now, we’d like to take this opportunity to invite you to help us honor your family and friends who have served our great country.

The Military Banner Program salutes our brave men and women who are currently serving and previously served in the military. Your order includes a single-sided 2’ x 3’ – 18 oz. vinyl banner. Banners will be displayed at the discretion of the Boro of Plum. All banners are hung up and taken down by our Public Works Department. The anticipated display period will be Memorial Day through Veteran’s Day for a period of two years. At the completion of the two years, banners will be retired and will remain the property of the Boro. Banners are NOT returned to the sponsor.

There are 14 poles along Mike Thomas Way which will allow for a total of 56 banners. Currently, there are 34 banners with only 22 remaining spaces available – so order yours today by submitting the form below. Please note that your order will not be considered complete until the form is submitted with all requested information including a high-resolution photo and full payment. Within 48 to 72 hours of submission, you will receive a proof of your banner via email for your approval. Applications are reviewed and processed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The application deadline for completed orders is April 30, 2025.

Cost of Banner: $145 + tax.

That’s it!  Once your order is paid for your banner will be produced and shipped directly to the Boro of Plum for hanging.

– QUICK SCANNING TIPS TO ENSURE BEST BANNER RESULTS
  • Ensure file submitted is high resolution.
  • File should be a minimum of 300 dpi for a 4×6 photo while smaller photos should be scanned at 600-1200 dpi or greater.
  • Save files at maximum print/resolution settings for JPG & PDF with the honoree’s name (not dad’s pic, scan1, etc.)
NOTE: Photos from social media websites are generally low resolution and should not be used if possible to ensure best results. For the best results possible, take the time to find the best photo and have it scanned in properly.  If you are not able to scan it yourself, enlist the help of a family member, friend, or your local photo place (Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, etc.)
DO NOT CROP YOUR PHOTO. SEND PHOTO IN FULL SIZE AT HIGHEST RESOLUTION.
